Pie or Round Jaw
A pie jaw or round jaw is a specialized type of jaw used to hold an object ,usually objects with radial symmetry, especially a cylindrical object.
it is used where the jaws have hold the entire surface of the object mainly where high torques are involved .it is also used where the object is soft and non-ferrous in nature.
These jaws are made to different sizes and the material of construction would differ depending on the application. Typically they are made in aluminium, steel or SG iron.
Straight Jaws
