Tribonite

Pioneers in surface engineering and manufacturing of surface treatment chemicals brings to you, TRIBONITE –‘Surface enhancement process’. Tribonite is an advanced thermo chemical process in which nitrogen and carbon are diffused simultaneously into the surface of the material .The nitrogen alloy on the surface of the material creates a case hardened surface and is predominantly used on steels and cast iron and also on stainless steels, titanium and aluminium.

The high concentration of nitrogen, chemically combines with iron and other nitride-forming elements, to produces an outer layer of epsilon iron nitride, which is thin, hard and yet ductile. In addition, it also forms an underlining diffusion zone containing dissolved nitrogen in iron along with associated alloy nitrides depending on steel chemistry.

Process: A thermo-chemical treatment where nitrogen and carbon simultaneously diffuse into the surface of materials like steel, titanium, and aluminum.

Resulting Layer: Forms a hard, thin, ductile outer layer (epsilon iron nitride) and a deeper diffusion zone, enhancing surface hardness and wear properties.

Tribox

Tribox incorporates ‘Epsilon plus’ technology to improve properties and enhance performance.it gives deeper epsilon carbon-nitride zone and limits underlying transition gamma zone.
It gives a unique ‘hard’ yet ‘ductile ‘compound zone which gives superior wear performance .The hexagonal structure results in excellent anti-seizure ,anti -scuffing and anti-galling properties. It has excellent hot hardness and stays hard to the temperature of treatment.
It also produces surface micro hardness values from 350 Hv up to 1400 Hv, depending on material used. Fatigue properties of steel are greatly improved by change in Composition of the compound layer by EPSILON PLUS.
